Tips:

To know that your plantains are done, use a fork and you’ll notice that the plantain is more soft.

The first time you take your plantain out of the oil is to mash it.

Use any non stick paper. In my case I used aluminum foil I put a layer then put the plantain and another layer.

I used a plate to mash it because the plantains are big. Repeat the process.

fry them again and there’s when they’re going to be ready is like doing “tostones” but bigger pieces.

Another tip is to put them in bounty or any absorbent paper so they get more crunchy and less oily.

Do your chicken or ground beef first since that’s what takes the most time.

Fry your cheese. Do the salad and then the sauce and assemble.

We assembled it on aluminum foil but you can do it in plates. We tried to make it a sandwich that you can grab kinda “on the go”
