DIY SUN HEADBOARD ✨☀️

I was inspired by the deco sun headboard from @urbanoutfittershome, it costs $349 which isn’t expensive. I just wanted to recreate it! What's the fun in just buying something if you can try and build it?!

I really wanted to keep the sun natural wood and just do the ends of the rays in gold, but Isla really wanted the whole thing gold, so that’s what I did! My favorite gold spray paint is Rustoleum gold metallic spray paint.

I poured my heart and soul into this room for my 6 year old daughter, Isla. She is a ray of sunshine and deserves this rainbow room so much. Times are tough right now but one thing is for sure, big love happens in the small moments. So take a minute to look around you and appreciate the good and magic that exists. Because I promise if you look, you'll find it!
