i love setting goals for each month, so hereโs what i have for november:
๐ค mental goals:
๐ get back into a good routine for school
- I was doing really well with staying on top of all of my studying, but october was a very social month for me that caused me to get a little off track. for me thatโs fine because iโve been prioritizing being more outgoing, but itโs time to get back on track!
๐ if itโs not raining, get outside
- I love my walks but as it gets colder and colder I might lose motivation to go on them. I can always bundle up though!
๐ talk to more strangers
- this goes along with being more outgoing, iโve been very โin my own bubbleโ for the last few years. so iโm enjoying meeting new people right now and being in social situations that are out of my comfort zone!
๐ stop taking things personally
- something iโve learned the hard way since putting myself out there more ๐ฅฒ a lot of times nothing is personal and youโre only hurting yourself by thinking that way!
๐ read 1 book
- with my workload picking up, I havenโt had as much time for reading. my goal is to finish at least one book this month
๐ lower screen time
- I think everyone can relate to this one lol
๐ wake up 1 hour earlier
- staying out later at night on the weekends has messed with my sleep schedule a lot and iโve been struggling to regulate it again. making it a goal this month to hold myself to it!
๐ค physical goals:
๐ 1 five mile walk per week
- as the weather changes I know I will have to sacrifice but still want to hold myself accountable to make time for at least one!
๐ lift weights 2x per week
- I havenโt been prioritizing weight lifting as much and iโve noticed a decrease in my strength, time to get back into it!
๐ increase flexibility
- I cheered throughout high school and college and can definitely tell iโm not as flexible as before. stretching feels so good and itโs so good for your muscles!
๐ minimum 5k steps per day
- on cold rainy days I can definitely be a couch potato, so on those days I will have to make an effort to walk more or hop on the treadmill
๐ drink more water
- something else iโve let slip since the warmer months, I drink a lot less water now than I did over the summer
