Go to the beach! ☀️

I’ve grown up going to Fort Myers Beach when traveling to the area, and I honestly didn’t think there would be as much standing from the hurricanes as there is. (A lot is gone too - a lot of places where the best memories were made by thousands each year).

I know that over the past 6 months, TONS of cleanup has been happening, and there’s a long way to go, but it was hopeful to see the community rebuilding together and keeping the island alive in whatever ways they can right now.

Junkanoo is a fun spot to pull up to by boat walk up to on the island. I used to go to the Dairy Queen on FMB all the time, and since that’s gone, it was a nice surprise to still get ice cream from the truck before heading home for the day 😋
