5 Things I’ve learned at 37 💕

I am learning to appreciate the journey of life rather than just focusing on the destination. Life is a balance of successes and failures, and that both contribute to personal growth and resilience. The significance of setting goals, living with intention, and finding joy in the present moment is really where it’s at. Here’s a few areas that stand out the most (in no particular order!).

FAMILY🏠: Family is a vital support system. They are why I get up and stay motivated each day. The value of spending quality time with loved ones, nurturing relationships, and prioritizing their well-being is a must. Open communication, empathy, and forgiveness is also essential for maintaining a healthy family dynamic.

WORK👩🏻‍💻: The importance of finding a career that aligns with your passions and values is key! Don’t be afraid to shift your focus. In fact, once you do, you’ll wish you have done so sooner.

FAITH🙏🏼:Believing in God and talking to him through prayer doesn’t make you weak. It makes you stronger. Gives you purpose and a deeper meaning to your life. I truly don’t know where I’d be without my faith. It quite literally is everything.

HEALTH🏃🏽‍♀️🧁: By now, I know it’s important to prioritize my health and well-being. By maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise, proper nutrition (most of the time!), and sufficient rest is crucial to your physical and most importantly, mental well-being.

FRIENDSHIPS 👯‍♀️: I have gained a deeper understanding of the value of true friendships. Investing time and effort into nurturing meaningful connections is rewarding but knowing it’s okay to let go of some friendships and let it take its course if it’s not fulfilling. I believe God places people in your life for a reason and there may only be a season certain people are most impactful and vice versa.
