Taste Safe Play Dough Recipe

This is my FAVORITE way to make play dough. The cinnamon makes it smell so yummy, and the coconut oil makes it feel so nice. Plus these are ingredients you probably already have at home!

Ingredients:

• 1 cup of flour

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• 1/4 cup of salt

• 3/4 cup warm water

• 3 tbsp of lemon or lime juice (lime is my fav!)

• 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

• Food coloring

Sometimes I like to make a double batch and separate to make different colors! Today I was feeling tired and lazy so we just made one color!

You can leave out the cinnamon for more vibrant colors but I have been loving the muted tones the cinnamon gives it!

We store ours in a plastic bag or air tight container. Play dough is a bit disposable in our house with a 1.5 and 3 year old it’s always gotten dirty or I’ve gotten sick of cleaning it up before it’s gone bad. 😬😅
