Create a Picnic Punk look with me!!

I am in love with this pink gingham dress I bought from a friend a while back, and I wanted to find a way to wear it in a more edgy style. Thus, Picnic Punk was born! A combo of riot grrrl punk inspired fashion, and girly cottage core!

Here are some tips to create a Picnic Punk look of your very own!

🌸 I like to start with a delicate/cottagecore base and add more edgy accents as I go

🌸Lots of lace, ruffles, and full skirts are always great! Try your favorite sundress!

🌸 Swap out your tartan for gingham!! The original picnic print! It’s so cute and a perfect way to combine both worlds

🌸 For shoes, try a girly platform Oxford or a pair of worn in combat boots. That definitely gives the outfit a Kate Bjelland feel!

🌸Add punky accessories like DIY’d jackets and vests, studs, fishnets or ripped tights, and safety pins

🌸Don’t be afraid to get camp with it! Add items with a food motif like a beret or bag!

🌸Have some fun outside with friends on a warm sunny day eating sweets and listening to Mommy Longlegs and Pleasure Venom!
