Travel Mistakes I Won’t Make Again

Everyone makes mistakes, what matters is whether or not you learn from them! Here are four mistakes I have personally made that I won’t be making again 👇👇👇

- spending too much time, taking pics and missing out on living in the moment. Don’t get me wrong. I love a good pic as much as the next gal, but they should never be more important than making memories

- Booking flights on a third-party app. I once had a flight change to the next day and couldn’t do anything about it because I booked on a third-party app. Make sure you get compensated for cancel or change flights by booking direct with the airline.

- trying to hard to stick to a schedule. I get it, planning can be a great tool to ensure you get to see and do everything on your list, just don’t be to rigid about it, and leave room for spontaneity

- not doing research on your destination beforehand. Going into a trip prepared with a list of options for fun things to see and do takes away from the stress having to find something right now or feeling like you’re missing out
