OBX Must-do Activities

Planning a trip to the Outer Banks is a great place to kick off your summer travels!

Today I’m sharing a guide to one of my favorite OBX islands, Beaufort. Here are 3 highlights I’d recommend for anyone going to Beaufort 👇

• Day trip to Shackleford Banks. There are wild horses on the island and it’s a great place to have a beach day and hunt for shells! (Full Shackleford guide on my page)

• Stroll the Marina. Not only is Beaufort’s marina filled with beautiful ships and sailboats, but this is also a completely free activity to add to your list 🙌

• Visit the General Store in Downtown Beaufort for delicious ice cream after dinner. They also sell candy and souvenirs, but there’s just something about ice cream that just makes sense after a beach day
