Most Iconic Places in NYC

One of the things I love the most about NYC is that there are so many iconic places to explore that are often seen in popular movies and tv shows. 🎥

DUMBO is one of the most iconic and selfie worthy spots in Brooklyn. It’s home to many high end restaurants, shops, and residences. My favorite places to walk are through the cobblestone streets because it makes me feel like I’m still in the Old New York era. 🌆 Dumbo

I also love walking through Brooklyn Bridge Park, especially in the summer, to see the city skyline and enjoy the warm breeze by the Hudson River. Brooklyn Bridge Park

Another one of my favorite places to check out is Prospect Park. It’s a beautiful escape from the bustling city with  lush greenery and tranquil lakes. Prospect Park

PLUS right across the street is the iconic Brooklyn Botanical Gardens that is home to a wide array of beautiful plants and trees. The best time to visit is during the Spring because all the cherry blossoms start to bloom and if you walk past the Japanese Garden you’ll forget you’re still in NYC. 🌸🌷Brooklyn Botanic Garden

NEXT, if you’re a Friends fan then you have to take the train to the Village and stop on the corner of Bedford and Grove Street to take a selfie outside the iconic Friends building! 👥📺 Friends building

Just a couple blocks away from the Friends building is another iconic building from the sexiest show on TV. Carrie Bradshaw’s beautiful brownstone from Sex and the City is located on Perry Street The House of Carrie Bradshaw (“Sex and the City”)

PLUS the famous Magnolia’s Bakery where Carrie and Miranda discussed their crushes while eating delicious cupcakes is a couple blocks away on Bleeker Street. 🧁 Magnolia Bakery
