Quick and easy matcha latte recipe

Here’s how you can make a café-worthy matcha latte at home for a fraction of what it would cost you at a real café!

Ingredients:

2 tsp Matcha powder. I’m using Naoki Matcha’s Barista Blend matcha

200 ml fresh milk

50 ml water

1 tsp sugar

Steps:

1. Sieve the powder to prevent clumps of matcha in your drink

2. Add about 50 ml water in a tall glass to prevent splatter and use an electric frother to whisk

3. In another glass, add ice and milk.

4. Pour whisked matcha into milk and it’s ready to serve!

Tips:

🍵 If you want the aesthetic gradient look, pour slowly and aim over a piece of ice!

🍵 You’ll need different amounts of matcha powder according to the brand/grade. Experiment, adjust and have fun!
