Here is my simple recipe for homemade graham crackers:

1 cup wheat flour

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup honey

1 egg

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and honey together until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

Divide the dough into two pieces and roll each one out between two sheets of parchment paper until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.

Cut the dough into squares or shapes using a cookie cutter.

Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Let the crackers cool completely before serving.
