I have 7 credit cards! Here's how I keep track of them, and make sure that I get the most cash back possible from my everyday spending.

Firstly, I never spend more than I can pay off each month, and I don't spend extra on my cards just to get rewards back.

My secret to maximizing my rewards is this spreadsheet! It helps me organize all of my cards and clearly compare the rewards categories for each of my cards. I then take the time to identify what spend categories to place on each card.

For example: since my Citi Costco card has the highest cash back reward for gas, I always use that card to pay for gas. Similarly, since my Bank of America Custom Cash Rewards card has the highest cash back reward for online shopping, I exclusively use that card when I'm paying for things online.

Over time, an additional 1-2% here and there adds up and I've consistently been earning over $500 per year in cash back from my regular spending!
