How To Find The Right Major For You!

I Just Graduated! 🎉🎓👩🏾‍🎓

Thanks God, I thought it would never come!

I want to give some insight on what helped me pick my major! It’s an important decision because this is the start of your first chosen path and you’re probably paying to complete this aswell, so you want your time and money well spent 😌! That’s reasonable!

While there are many factors that you have to consider when choosing, I recommend starting with these three:

1) Enjoyablity ❤️‍🔥

2) Future Opportunities 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾

3) Ability to Explore 🗺️

Remember, You don’t have to take the traditional route when you want to go to professional schools like medical or law schools. I know a family medicine doctor 👨‍⚕️ that was an art 🖼️ major, just did the pre-requisites on the side! He studied art because he loved 🥰 it and still got the work done to continue doing other things he was passionate about. Now he’s on the board of an art museum in his spare time 🕰️! Time and money well spent! 👍

Do all the research, Ask all the questions and ask twice if you have too, Talk to your advisor! These things are possible!
