I was insecure about my looks…

Growing up and well into my young adult life I was always insecure about the way I looked. I hated my nose, my flat chest, and honestly didn’t think I was pretty at ALL. Now I’m probably a bit over confident about my appearance 😂 here’s how I over came my insecurities:

1. Surrounded myself with supportive people- the people I used to be around MADE FUN of my appearance! These are not friends. Friends lift you up and support and cheer you on! Find a good support system and the world is your oyster. (My husband is my biggest hype person. Find a guy like that!)

2. I stopped caring - I’m made the way I am and that’s perfect! There is no reason for me to be insecure about things I cannot change or go to great lengths with possible issues (plastic surgery) to change them! Take me or leave me. Your choice!

3. I found my worth in more than looks - there is so much more to life than your appearance. I find my purpose in Christ. He has brought me so much peace and joy! My goal is to be like Him and share love, kindness, and encouragement to others.
