Wedding dress shopping as a 2025 bride!!!

Went on a work trip to Phnom Penh and thought hmmm why not give Cambodian fashion a chance … and let me tell you I was BLOWN away by the wedding dress labels here!!!

First 3 pics are from ✨Amari Bridal✨: they have off the rack dresses to rent but generally do custom dresses that are drop dead gorgeous (I saw a couple of customs on the rack and was informed they were customer orders).

💰 the prices were absolutely insane.

First white dress: rental $300, for them to make a new piece $450

Pink cheongsam: rental $400

!!!!!! If you’ve been looking around Singapore shops you’ll know prices like these are close to 1/4th of what you’d pay here.

The next 2 dresses are from ✨Parisa Sposa✨. They carry multiple luxury labels and these 2 were from Lecia Bridal, a Vietnamese brand.

I absolutely fell in love with the first Vivienne Westwood lookalike however it was a bit out of my price range and the thought of shipping it back and forth was a bit of a hassle.

The second dress was oh so dreamy and fairytale like…I really loved the pleated flowers but I wanted something more BOMBASTIC for my wedding🙈

💰 1st dress: rental $1650, purchase $3k+

All in all, a fun adventure. Can consider buying your dress there especially with Amari which does have a lot of foreign customers who send their measurements over and do virtual consults!!
