Revolve Corset Review

Revolve is one of my favorite places to shop when it comes to going-out or special-occasion attire! I recently couldn’t help but snag this corset top by “Boys Lie” so here’s my honest review!

Look: I really love a corset style top and I think this is such a fun and unique take on a classic look! It has the typical corset boning which helps cinch in the waist but the cutest part is the little cherub detailing at the bust. The little angels are removable so you can wear this a number of different ways!

Quality: I think the quality is really reasonable for the price of this top. The entire corset is boned which is a sign of good quality and it has a sturdy hook-and-eye closure in the back. I wish the boning didn’t poke at the fabric quite as much along the bottom hem, which I think just might be because the plastic tubes used to create the boning were left sharp on the end. Again, I think this is to be expected given the price point.

Price: I paid $125 which I think is fairly average for Revolve. It’s still cheaper than a corset from a competitor like House of CB, which I think is a plus!

Size: I sized up one size in this top and I’m so glad I did! I normally wear a small but went with a medium. The hook-and-eye closure means it’s a little bit adjustable regardless of what size you get, but I do think this runs a little on the smaller size so definitely size up.
