Pig beach📝Description/Tips: Pig Beach is mostly about the pigs, but you can also snorkel and swim further out in the area and enjoy the clear Bahamian waters. Be aware that some could bite , as friendly they are just be careful and cautious.. but just be friendly and gentle with those little cuties.

Las grutas de tolantongo📝Description/Tips: The water at Grutas de Tolantongo is warm and blue due to dissolved minerals. The cave is small and dark, and the hot spring water mixes with a colder waterfall to form the river. Some say it's best to visit on a weekday to avoid crowds. Some recommend bringing water shoes, a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, a waterproof phone case, and cash. You might also want a headlamp to explore the caves, a padlock for lockers, and snacks and water for the drive.

Bioluminescent Mosquito Bay📝Description/Tips: To best enjoy the luminescence, try to avoid full moon nights. Note that if it is a full moon, the water will still glow, but the darker it is, the more you'll witness the effect that movement has on these single-celled organisms. Tides and water temperatures affect the brightness of the bays as well. Swimming at the bay and lagoon is not allowed for conservation purposes, with the exception of La Parguera. You should also avoid using hand creams, bug repellant, and any other lotions that can harm the organisms. NO SWIMMING!

Black Beach📝Description/Tips: Playa Negra is known for surfing, but swimming is not recommended due to the big waves and rocky shores. If you do go in the water, it's best to swim at high tide when the water is deeper, and avoid swimming with surfers. Most beaches in Costa Rica don't have lifeguards, so you should swim where you see others swimming. Petty theft is the most common crime against tourists in Costa Rica, so don't leave valuables unattended or visible in your car. You should also take care of your belongings and valuables when traveling by bus, carry your backpack in front of you, and avoid walking in isolated or unlit areas.

Xenses Park📝Description/Tips: Xenses Park is a half-day adventure with over 15 activities on land, air, and water. Some say the park challenges your senses with unusual scenarios that create an unreal impression. Bring a swimsuit, towel, water shoes, and comfortable clothes that can get wet, like long pants. Avoid sandals or shoes that don't fit your ankles. You should also bring swimming gear that you don't mind wearing in mud baths or salt rinses, and a change of clothes. Only use sunscreen and insect repellent that contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. There are free lockers near the entrance where you can store belongings you don't want to get wet. However, some say the lockers are small. The park doesn't include food, but there is a restaurant and cafe. Some recommend bringing snacks.
