Halloween Lip Combo 🍎🖤

I recently discovered this Halloween inspired lip combo featuring products that most of us already have !!! It is dark and elegant which I love. This combo really gets me into the spirit of the holidays and I believe it will look great with several different costumes like a vampire, red riding hood , etc.

First, I start off with a product that I believe all of us , a beat up old pencils eyeliner that lives at the bottom of our make up bag 😂 although there are many brands that have great black lip liners, I personally have not purchased one just yet because I don’t think I would reach for it year around but being able to multipurpose black, pencil liner as lip liner is a great hack 💅🏼 When lining with black liner is really important to make sure lines are precise, and sharp, since mistakes are hard, if not impossible to hide.

After lining, I use my finger or brush to blend out the liner, focusing on the inner side of the line, not the outer line in order to maintain the sharpness. This creates a gradient effect that looks great once the gloss is added.

Finally , I go in with my NYX Butter Gloss in the shade “Apple Crisp”. This is a beautiful, vibrant red that looks great as a pop of color, even when being paired with black liner. I focus the red on the center of the lips, and then blend out it out :)

The final result is absolutely beautiful and I definitely believe that you should give it a try this spooky season ! 🍎🎃
