🏔️ Sights You Can’t Miss at Yellowstone

🏔️ Did you know that Yellowstone was the first official national park of the US? It opened in 1872 and has been visited by many ever since. Here are five sights you shouldn’t miss when you’re there:

💨 Old Faithful is probably the most known sight of yellowstone with its punctual and powerful geothermal eruptions. You can tell a lot of tourists come here as they have already added benches for people to sit on. In this area, you can also find the gift shops and old faithful inn (an inn with rustic charm and a towering log structure).

💦 The Grand Prismatic is one of the largest hot springs in the world and is known for its colorful hues. While you can go directly to the spring and walk around it, the best view of the grand prismatic is from the overlook which can be accessed via the Fairy Falls parking lot.

🏜️ The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is one of the most breathtaking views in Yellowstone with its waterfall and vibrant rock layers. The best viewpoint to see this is the Artist’s Point.

🪨 Mammoth Spring was probably one of my most favorite sights to see at Yellowstone. Do not be fooled! It looks like a quick and easy walk but it is actually quite steep & big, if you plan to walk the whole thing. Definitely worth it!

🐻 Lamar Valley is a haven for animal lovers! Here you will find folks who frequent Yellowstone to enjoy the animal viewings and photographers who are aiming to get good wildlife photos. There is no doubt that you will spot at least one bear here! If you’re lucky, you may even see a wolf!
