The best tonkatsu I’ve ever had!!!!!

And it’s not your any ordinary tonkatsu.

The tonkatsu we had is from Tonkatsu by Ma Maison, and it’s their Aji Buta! 🤤

So… What is Aji Buta? For those who don’t know what is Aji Buta, basically their diet are 100% plant based (which consists of milo, barley, cassava, and shochu lees from a local sake brewery was used as the main raw material, without using any common animal feed such as fishmeal.

As a result, Ajibuta’s producer has succeeded in producing pork that is soft and has sweetness in its refreshing umami, and that suppresses the porky odour that consumers shy away from. (⬆️ source: Google)

They also offer freeflow rice, cabbage and soup! And I must say, their Tonjiru soup is also superb delicious.

Other than the price is a little on the higher side ($38++ for a set), everything else is a 💯!

If anybody happen to be in Jewel for lunch or dinner, do consider this for your next meal 🤤 my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it, and we always called it “milo pig” 😂 The meat literally melt in your mouth with the burst of fat and juice 🥹💯 please try it!
