I went to Vietnam twice last year AND the food was defo the highlight of the trip 🤩 So let me walk you thru it~

Pho 🍲

📍Pho Phu Vuong

One of the best Pho I had in HCMC with their flavourful beef soup and vege 🥬 Their menu mainly consist of a combination of Pho and diff parts of beef 🐮 You also have to try their fruit smoothie 🍧 it’s a refreshing drink that’s unlike anything offered in Sg✨

📍Bep Me In

Absolutely my fav restaurant in HCMC 🥹 They serve all kinds of Vietnamese dishes thats damn good! You defo need to order the Ban Xeo, it’s like Kuay Teow wrapped in crispy pancake. It’s full of favour and I loved it smmm! Rest of the foods are all equally good so just be adventurous and order whichever looks good!

📍Den along Saigon

Another restaurant that offers various types of Vietnamese dishes 🤤 They are vv unique and I enjoyed them :) Nearby, is a shopping street with a variety of local clothing shops, so it’s perfect for anyone (esp women) to shop ard after eating 🍽️

Beef Hotpot 🐮

📍Tiem Lau Bo

Beef is widely popular in HCMC and this is one of the dishes that you shld not miss out! The soup brings in a flavourful taste with other ingredients like vege and noodles 🍜 Best to be eaten in groups and its an enjoyable dinner to have there!

Pizza 🍕

📍4Ps

It’s a chain pizza store that’s located everywhere in HCMC! Vv atas and a must visit to try their pizzas 🤠

Com Tam 🥗

Com Tam is like Cai Fan in Sg! Many diff types of variations for you to try 🕺 There are a few famous Com Tam restaurants but honestly I m happy with any store bc it all ard the same and it’s a must try there !!!

Edible Rice Paper: My friend got it from Shopee I think and it’s a simple Vietnamese snack to devour 🌾

Bun Cha: Basically it’s pork with sweet soup and rice noodles! One of my fav there for its unique taste!

Chicken Rice: Diff from sg!!! It’s more of drumstick of various sauce you can choose from and rice. Vv interesting dish and you shld give it a try!

Vietnam is rlly known for their unique food offered there and I rlly missed eating all of them 😭 Hope this guide served as a basic guide to food in HCMC and do enjoy them!!!
