🇮🇩🛖🪴We stayed in a zoo for 3D2N!🦁🐯🦓🐮🐘

Located in Bali Zoo are the African-themed rooms which really wow-ed us. Zoos are for adults too!

There are carrots left in our room which we can throw from the balcony (we stayed on the second floor) to the zebras or giraffe roaming on the grass patch nearby. A powerful throw is required to not have the carrots land in the stream. Otherwise, they will be eaten by the elephants who are on their way to ferry guests for breakfast.

We spent the first day exploring part of the zoo, and took the cage-tram ride at night for the night safari. Very cool experience as we were so close to the lions and tigers in the night safari!! On the second day, we went to the zoo again and went to the swimming pool in the late afternoon.

TheMara River Safari Lodge is definitely worth staying at, regardless of whether it is for a family or couple trip! Only bad vibe was the big fat lizard in our room.
