Lock down time for chicks 🐣

In a few days our 4th batch of chicks are hatching! So today they got taken out of the egg turner and put on lock down! They're all barnyard mixes but still super cute; I have a gorgeous HUGE splash blue laced red wyandotte rooster and for hens I have: a midnight majesty maran, an isa brown, 2 olive eggers but unfortunately only one lays olive eggs and a sapphire gem who is my absolute favorite! I have 5 pullet chicks from them I kept which are too young to lay yet and 2 prairie bluebell egger pullets that are about 3 weeks old and I can't wait for them to start laying! I eventually want to get a maran rooster too

so I can breed some more colors! What breeds do you have? What's your favorite breed? I wish I could get a better picture of the colors but them being in the incubator makes it more difficult. But how cute is the incubator my MIL made 😍😍😍
