hey zesties!!🍋 over the long weekend, i headed over to ToMo and definitely left with a happy tummy and a new obsession with strawberry matcha😋

when i first reached, there were so many people queuing up for the cafe😵‍💫, i'd definitely recommend booking a reservation beforehand!!

heres what we got & what i recommend!🙇🏼‍♀️

☆ tonkatsu sando $20 (8/10)

a really good sando tbh, the bread was not too hard but also not soggy! the tonkatsu was well cooked and it was not tough, the only down side was that the sauce was a little too much for my liking but nothing big, just scrapped out some and it was perfect!😋😋

☆ wagyu beef ragout $21 (8/10)

im not really a tomato pasta typa person bc most tomato sauces are really overpowering but this was good! every strand of pasta was covered in sauce and beef🤤 and it was not overpowering as well, the sauce blended really well with the beef... still thinking about it😞

☆ cereal french toast with fried chicken $20 (7.5/10)

a really unique dish thats only available for the month of sept! it has spicy smoked honey sauce which elevated the taste of the dish😋

☆ mentaiko tater tots $13 (10/10)🙇🏼‍♀️

i LOVED the tater tots, it wasnt soggy and perfectly crispy🤤 we ordered the full one and it was just right for 5 people, we devoured EVERYTHING😋😋😋

☆ iced matcha latte $8 (9/10)🙇🏼‍♀️

a really good cup of matcha latte ngl, ordered both unsweetened and less sweet and both tasted good! the sweetness was not overpowered and it was just right for me😋

☆ matcha strawberry cloud latte $8 (10/10) 🙇🏼‍♀️

you HAVE to get this when you visit ToMo!!! this was soooo good... it was my sister's drink but i almost devoured everything... really changed my mind about fruits with matcha😅😅

☆ berry citrus fresca $7 (7/10)

tastes like fizzy ribena without the sugar!!! i love ribena so thats a plus😋

☆ honey panacotta $12 (10/10) 🙇🏼‍♀️

this is so freaking good😭😭😭😭 the panacotta is so smooth and milky, melts in your mouth😍 and the honeycomb adds a crunchy texture and slight bitterness to match the sweetness of the honey🍯

☆ yuzu osmanthus cake $7 (6/10)

not really a fan of flowers and fruit together so this definitely wasnt for me! but if you love that combo, you'd definitely love this cake! both components are well blended with each other~

☆ peanut chocolate mousse $8 (9/10)

superrrr good mousse!! the crunchy layer at rhe bottom of the mousse honestly stole the show😅 it was so good and crunchy🤤🤤

☆ lemon meringue tart $7 (6/10)

i didnt like the layer of sweet syrup on top of the tart as it overpowered the sourness of the lemon😓 but still edible!!! if you like something less sour, you could try this tart compared to other places!

phew... that was a lot of food to go through! overall, i think ToMo is definitely worth the hype!!🤤 there are some hit or misses but most of them are definitely hits!! i'd definitely be back to try other dishes and for the matcha strawberry cloud latte😵‍💫😵‍💫
