4 Location Ideas for your next photoshoot

Location scouting is so much fun, I love finding the most perfect & dreamy locations for my clients! I always try to mix it up and make every photo shoot different from the last, but there are some locations categories I use again and again. I compiled a list of my 8 favourite location ideas to give you inspiration for your next brand photo shoot!

1. Garden/ Parks

- Gardens are ideal because everything is manicured and well taken care of to provide lush and beautiful greenery for your photoshoot. This does come at a price as most botanical gardens might require you to purchase a ticket for admission, but in our opinion it is well worth it.

2. Studio

- Studio spaces are clean and clear areas that allow photographers, models, and crew to to prep accordingly. On locations, you'll have to deal with whatever limitations come with the space. It may be cramped, dirty, lacking privacy for quick wardrobe changes, etc. All of that slows you down, costing valuable time.

3. Beach/Lake

- A beach/lake photoshoot creates a relaxed vibe so the shots are more natural and you can forget you are even being photographed.

4. Stairwells

- Stairwells, staircases, escalators. These day-to-day structures offer many photo opportunities thanks to their various shapes and sizes. Depending on the architecture of a building, the design of staircases can vary greatly.
