1-3. Aoi Aso Shrine / #青井阿蘇神社

The shrine has impressive steeply pitched thatched roofs. It has been designated a National Treasure in recognition of its highly finished construction in the Momoyama style, which uses a variety of decorations and colors.

急勾配のかやぶき屋根が印象的な神社です。多彩な装飾や色彩が使われた桃山様式を取り入れた完成度の高い造りなどが評価され国宝に指定されています。

4-6. Keiryu Villa lTSUKI / #渓流ヴィラITSUKI

The villa is located near a river. You can enjoy the natural landscape and the murmuring of the river from the villa too! A tent on the balcony made it possible to enjoy the outdoors even in winter.The meals were stylish and tasty.

川のすぐそばにあるヴィラで、ヴィラからも自然景観や川のせせらぎを楽しめました。バルコニーにはテントがあり、冬でもアウトドア気分を満喫できました。食事もおしゃれで美味しかったです。

7. Ichifusa Dam Giant Fountain / #市房湖大噴水

It's a giant fountain that shoots up to 80 meters high. There was a rainbow on this day, and it was beautiful. In spring, the cherry blossoms are very beautiful here.

高さ80mまで噴き上がる大噴水。この日は虹も出てきれいでした🌈春は、桜がとてもきれいな場所です。

8. Amemiya Shrine / #雨宮神社

The shrine is located at the top of the Amamiya Forest. It is a mysterious spot popularly known as Totoro Forest due to its shape seen from a distance.

雨宮の森の頂上にある神社で、遠くから見るその形状からトトロの森として親しまれる神秘的なスポットです。

9-10. Yunoturu Onsen & Tojiya Onsen Guesthouse / #湯の鶴温泉 & 温泉ゲストハウス #tojiya

Yunotsuru Onsen in Minamata City has a history of about 700 years. Many locals seemed to enjoy the onsen. The atmosphere of the old days is strong that staying here felt like a trip back in time.

水俣市にある湯の鶴温泉は、約700年の歴史があるそうです。観光地化されすぎてなく、地元の方も多く温泉を楽しまれている様子でした。昔の雰囲気が色濃く残っていて宿泊しているとタイムスリップした気分になりました。
