back again with my kr diaries — i had a lot of amazing food in korea so here’s me sharing some of it! here’s part 1!

— ONION CAFE

this cafe was trending EVERYWHERE so we ought to give it a try…and i must say….worth the hype! the cafe first invites you in it’s hanok style built and interior, really gives off the feels 🛖 there are so many pastry options, i wanted to try everything 🍵

we ordered: pistachio bread • strawberry danish • brownie • vanilla bean latte (6000W) • peach lemon tea (6500W) • pastries ranged from 5500 to 7000 — everything was 10/10! my favourite was the pistachio bread and vanilla bean latte ☕️🍰

— TOSOKCHON SAMGYETANG

this meal was especially needed in the cold weather but regardless, you have to try this really popular ginseng chicken soup place! the only mains they have are samgyetang and we ordered the original version (19,000W) 🍲 this meal was SO FILLING for the stomach and heart…a whole chicken filled with glutinous rice (thank god i did not order a bowl of rice)

be prepared to queue! the queue was not long when i was there at around 3pm, about 20 mins waiting time? i’ve seen worse in other photos….

— KYUNG-YANG PORK CUTLET RESTAURANT

chanced upon this restaurant on tik tok as i was craving for some pork cutlets and…it was a GOOD FIND! this quaint restaurant is located in gangnam area. yet again, food was 10/10. the cheese pull in the mozerella…& crispy cutlet was amazing 🥓

we ordered: cheese pork cutlet set • pork sirloin set | set comes with: mini rice bowl • mini noodles • freeflow dips and banchan • each set costs about 13,000-15,000W
