This is the time I went deep sea fishing! I had went deep sea fishing before when I was 10 years old and didn’t get sick and actually really loved it! I had never been that far in the ocean before, so when my Dad asked me if for Father’s Day would I like to go fishing with him, my sister, her best friend, her best friends boyfriend, and my boyfriend I though…why not 🤷🏻‍♀️😃 We got up pretty early to get out there because it was about 45 minutes way from our vacation home. Once we got on the boat my Dad passed out bag lunches. I didn’t want breakfast so of course I ate BAD CHOICE. Once we left the dock and the wind was blowing it felt really nice! We hit a few waves, which made my stomach drop but I was okay with that! It was a lot of fun. Once we got pretty far out we put the anchor down. I tried to stand up but fell right back down. I couldn’t get up at all. All the men went to the bottom part of the boat to fish and my sister and her best friend came to the top for shade and to talk to me. We were all cutting up and laughing until about 45 minutes into it. I started to feel yucky! The smell of the diesel was getting to me and the rocking of the boat was awful. My Dad asked if I was okay because I was looking pale. I told him “No I would like to go back” and he just shrugged 🤷🏻‍♂️ because he booked us for 4 HOURS! WE STILL HAD 3 TO GO! The longer I was out there the more I felt awful. I kept pushing it down and then finally I got sick! I was so embarrassed, but thankfully the captain gave me a bucket 🥲🥲 afterwards I tried to take a nap while sitting up but everytime the boat rocked, I would jump up. Everyone but me caught a shark! And if I had to rate my experience it was definitely a 1/10 👎🏻🥲🥲
