Oh I love this, it is so me. I remember shopping online so often for the trendy items I wasn’t super into, but matched the coquette aesthetic. But stopping into a vintage / thrift / antique shop, you can find so much UNIQUE items for so cheap! (Antique, not so much, but unique, YES) so I recommend if you have a shopping day, take a trip to a second-hand shop to see what original and unique items you can pick up that matches the coquette aesthetic, BEFORE splurging at department stores / Target / Amazon / Michael’s / Etsy, etc. ( then, of course, go for it 😉 ) It is also a pleasant pastime to take yourself a day out and have some fun. Lace is huge for this aesthetic, the cheapest and best way to shop for that is inside of thrift shops, of course ensure it’s to your liking and in good shape. And remember don’t shop because it’s specifically within a certain aesthetic; get what it is you like!
