As God does in Genesis, believers are called to take a day of rest. I have recently decided to be more intentional with my Sundays in order to serve the Lord better. Here are some things that I am implementing into my Sundays:
- no homework: I finish it on Saturday or Monday, so I am not focused on school on Sundays.
- no social media: so that I am not distracted preparing for church, at church, or in time that I intend to spend with the Lord.
- sleep in: I often get little sleep during the week due to school, so I use this time to rest.
- clean, do laundry, and go grocery shopping: I reset and get ready for the week.
rest is important! of the God of the universe took a day of rest, who are we to think that we don't need one?
