✨Itinerary✨

Day 4

1. Headed out to Shibuya 🛍

We had brunch (we craved pancakes so we went to Denny's in Asakusa, missed their bfast menu so had to eat their mains and their mentaiko pasta was not nice and my BF's hamburg steak was decent but won't really recommend that place as I'm sure there's better places to eat 🍝) and went to Shibuya for shopping and arcade

Shibuya is big and its not built like Orchard Road with big malls that have many shops but rather many small malls/buildings so you really need to keep going into every buildings and going up and down which can be a little tiring! 🥲The inside of the buildings are usually much more dense and crammed compared to SG's malls so be ready LOL. Tower Records is also here so you can come and get your Jpop, Kpop, etc albums and it's tax free!💸

2. Went over to Meguro station via the metro and fished for our dinner at Zauo (they have other branches too) 🎣

Was so much fun! And it's not very easy so they will deduct 1000 yen from each fish's price if you catch the fish yourself instead of just ordering from them. So don't give in to your hunger and catch your fish! 🎏 They have lobsters, abalone too! 🦞 Overall, the food tasted great! Even my BF's Japanese cousins were impressed.

3. Pachinko and arcade after dinner 🕹

Pachinko is quite interesting because its just like the jackpot machines in Casinos but your main goal is to shoot small metal balls into a small hole. The Pachinko in Shibuya had a QR code for us to scan to get english instructions on how to play Pachinko. If you end up playing, remember to exchange your winnings in the card by the end of the day because it's only valid for a day. I will probably make a separate post about Pachinko because its a lot to explain about it. 🙊

Day 5

1. Went fishing along a stream at Benkei Fishing Club🎣

Before going, we had brunch at Yayoi at Asakusa which was good (had a noodle in thick broth with vege which was really nice 🍜) and went fishing. 🎏 It was very relaxing and the weather was great as we rowed the boat along the stream. Caught some carps and released them. We spent the whole day here from late morning to about 4pm because we were determined to catch more carps LOL. Costed about $25 per pax for a whole afternoon. Lots of locals there having their family time as it was a public holiday.

2. Headed over to Roppongi to eat dinner and do some shopping 🛍

Roppongi is known for its izakaya and there isn't as much shopping as shibuya, shinjuku etc so I think eating there is the main point.🍶 We went to try Gyopao which is a chinese casual restaurant with high ratings of 4.7⭐ on google reviews. It was nice but maybe a little overrated imo based on just the food but they are very friendly to foreigners. The bite sized gyoza was my favourite but their signature Gyopao was nice too! 🥟

Watch out for my last part of my Tokyo Itinerary post for day 6 and 7 filled with fun! 🤗
