3 Jackets You Need For Fall

With Fall starting, it’s time for layering! Fall fashion is truly my favorite because layering really allows you to use different pieces in your closet together to make all these new and exciting looks. Pairing different colors, patterns, and textures together is such a fun way to play in your closet!

When it comes to layering, one of the most important aspects is the outerwear that goes on top. These are my must have jacket types for Fall as I find myself reaching for them over and over again!

1. A classic trench coat is such a great closet staple. The classic camel color really screams Fall and looks good on top of any base outfit! You can also wear it multiple ways (open like this, or tied close with the belt for a really chic vibe). This one is from L’academie on REVOLVE and my other favorite trench is the oversized trench from Oak + Fort.

2. Everyone needs a denim jacket in their wardrobe. You can use this all year long and it’s a great styling piece when it comes to layering. I love an oversized look personally (this one is from Agolde), but you can really have fun with all the different shades offered- light/medium/dark wash denim, white /cream denim, camel colored, printed, etc.

3. Last, but not least, a good oversized blazer is something I use so often! It’s great to dress up a more casual look, but also works really well with a more dressy outfit. They can be so versatile, but they always give the vibe that you are super fashionable and put together!
