Why I decided to comb out my locs

Where do I even begin I really just didn’t like them when I first decided to loc my hair I intentionally did it because I thought it would be low maintenance I was definitely wrong🤦🏽‍♀️ it took a lot of work and the way my hair curls it was making my locs very thick and made my locs look like butterfly locs. And then I kept thinking my locs would look like other people locs and not knowing your locs is never going to look like others

The shrinkage was real I’m like damn why it don’t look like my hair growing. For me personally I couldn’t do versatile styles like I wanted it never came out cute to me when I tried. I would say I did get a lot of compliments on my hair I just don’t think it was for me.
