Dinner foils are easy to make and so fulfilling that you would want to make this dish almost every day ! There are so many ways you can make this dish , that the possibilities are endless! You can have a one flavor kinda ordeal going go or you can create different flavor profiles for each individual item that you add inside the foil🥰
The main thing to take away from this , is that for everything to balance out perfectly , you have to have these key ingredients:
Protein 🍤
Vegetables 🥗
Starch 🥔
As far as seasoning go , let your foil be your canvas! You don’t have to stick to just one flavor profile!
If you’re adding shrimp, do a citrus flavor profile 🍊 If you’re adding steak, do a roaste garlic & herb profile 🧄
I threw in a few boiled eggs in at the end . I was making this dish for Sunday dinner and I wanted to make sure that this dish was super fulfilling , so here is everything that I added to the foils :
Ribeye steak cubed
Shrimp
Corn
Broccoli
Onions & Peppers
Andouille Sausage
Red Potatoes
You’re more than welcome to preheat the oven to 375 , but I prefer you cook this dish on 400 to ensure your potatoes are cooked thoroughly. The cook time can range from 40-60 mins depending on those long the potatoes cook ⏱️
After the potatoes were finished cooking, I opened the foil packs and added cheese. I set the oven to a low broil to melt the cheese to a slight crisp . Once everything was done I drizzled chimichurri over the steak and some Cajun sauce over everything🥰
