Guide to Perfume Layering✨ Better scents & lasting

For today's post, i'm going to talk about perfume layering! I think this is an interesting topic because your body scent is your identity.

The principles of layering consists of superimposing and combining several fragrances in order to have a personalised fragrance. It's an assembly of scents that creates a unique fragrance (according to Sylvaine Delacourte). This consist try and error because customising the fragrances to match your body scent will take a lott of work 🤩

Now, i'm gonna give you a step by step tutorial on how to perfume layering.

1️⃣ Apply perfumed lotion to keep moisturise, you can use the same brand to make the layering easier and your scent won't come out weird 🤢 for instance, bath and body work lotion and bath and body work perfume.

2️⃣ Begin with strong scent perfume; EDP (Eau De Parfum) fragrance

3️⃣ Layer it with lighter scent; EDT (Eau De Toilette) fragrance. Spray 1-2 times only

4️⃣ Lastly, add the final layer using EDC (Eau De Cologne) spray 1-2 times only
