What's in my Box? 📸

I feel like this isn't as common for people around my age. we tend to just keep our photos on our phones, which IS nice bc then we have them with us, right? well while it's never happened to me specifically, ive definitely heard a lot of people who got locked out of accounts and lost their photos. and while you cant loose a memory as easily, photos are still nice

a little over a year ago i had decided to start a photo box. something i can store paper memories and keepsakes and take with me. i also try to print out my photos when i get a bunch. i use Free Prints as you get i think 85 prints free of charge, you just pay for taxes/shipping and it's still really cheap.

so you might ask "well what's in your photo box and why?" there's many memories and things. some even include people i no longer talk to or associate with. and while i choose not to talk to them, the memories are still a part of who i am and i'll save them bc they were once a happy thing in my life.

so here's some things you might find in my box-

•cards from birthdays and graduations

•polaroids of friends

•pictures of my boyfriend

•pictures of when i was in cheer

•pictures of the ocean

•regular postcards i got off amazon i just haven't hung up

•photos i made in art class (like photographs)

•pictures of one cat i used to have

i don't look at them often at all but it is always nice to know the memories are safe and sound if i ever do wanna see them. i also opted for a box rather than a book bc i knew i'd save more than just photos and that my photos wouldn't all be the same size. it just made more sense for me to use a box instead of a book.

i remember looking at my moms picture books as a kid and really enjoyed seeing all her memories i either wasn't alive for, or too young to remember. i'll continue to do this for hopefully my whole life.
