Engaged on top of a Dome! 💍

It’s 2022. 3 days after my birthday. My fiancé and I took a trip to visit Sequoia National Park

I had planned an entire day out for us to see as much as possible. Initially, I was saving a hike to Moro Rock for last Moro Rock 🪨

Moro Rock is THE most popular hike at Sequoia National Park 🏞️ I realized that if we had hiked layer in the day, it would be too hot and the crowds would be CRAZY! I decided that we were going to hike to Moro Rock first.

Turns out, it messed up my fiancés mojo as he was going to propose to me on top of Moro Rock. He was waiting until the end of the day, but he has to change it on the fly and propose to me first thing in the morning. 🔆

We hike up to the top of Moro Rock, and it happens to be crazy busy 🤦🏻‍♀️ it looks like no matter what time we went, it was going to be busy. There was a line of people behind us!

Nick gives my phone to a man behind us and says, “can you take a video?” I was confused because I thought we were taking a photo. Then, he turns around and gets on one knee.

I’m not going to lie, I sort of blacked out during his proposal because I was so in shock, happy and excited. I remember him saying “you are kind, smart and beautiful. You make me the happiest man in the world. Will you be my wife?” 🥹

Of course I said yes and a thunderous applause broke out from the huge line of people waiting for their photo op.

It was the perfect spot to get engaged. He was so nervous, but I didn’t even see it. It was perfect. ❤️

Fast forward, a year later and we’re getting married in less than 3 months! 🤯 time goes by so fast, I barely blinked.
