1️⃣ Watch a musical!!!

I only managed to watch Sister Act and The Book of Mormon, and they were both spectacular. Each show is about 2.5 hours with a 15-minute toilet break. The shows usually start at 7:30 PM on weekdays and 2/3 PM on weekends. I scored really good last-minute seats from TodayTix for £30 (usually £70-£100)!! They sell rush tickets at 10 AM daily, so set your alarms!! Note: Popular shows like Harry Potter or Stranger Things won’t have rush tickets, but they do have lottery tickets which you can enter a week before the show dates to try your luck!

2️⃣ Visit Spitalfields and Brick Lane Markets on weekends!!

I LOVEEEE the vibe of these 2 markets!! They sell a lot of vintage Y2K clothes/items. I thrifted an M&S trench coat here for £35. Go after 11 AM when most of the shops are open. I also visited Borough and Camden Market but didn’t find anything special. They felt more touristy, and I probably won’t visit them again if I go back.

3️⃣ Try Beigel Bake Brick Lane Bakery

Must try the Salt Beef and Salmon & Cream Cheese beigels. There’s usually a queue, but it moves fast. It’s a 24-hour bakery that’s famous for its bagels. I wanted to get them again before I left but didn’t have time!! Perfect for a late-night snack or an early morning bite! Try them when you visit the weekend market!!

4️⃣ Try fish and chips at Rock and Sole Plaice

Fish and chips are a must in London, right? My friend recommended this place. The fish is nice, but the chips were meh. Please recommend some good fish and chips places if you know any!!

5️⃣ Walk around Covent Garden

Window shop around. Buy something to eat and sit at one of the stools around Covent Garden Market Covent Garden Market to people-watch or enjoy the performances.

6️⃣ Last min shopping at Selfridges at Oxford Street

They have almost every brand you could think of (except Longchamp)! Some unique ones are Skims (you can try them on!!), Gymshark, Jellycat, and many more!

7️⃣ Walk around Oxford St

Great for shopping and people-watching. Tons of stores to explore!

8️⃣ Guard change ceremony at Buckingham Palace

The ceremony spans three locations: Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, and Wellington Barracks. There is no single spot where you can see the entire Guard Mount. It starts at 10:45 AM and lasts for about 45 minutes. You should arrive early to get the best view. I got there around 9:15 AM to get some pics and look for a spot to wait for the ceremony to start.

9️⃣ Get your photos at these iconic spots!!

Big Ben

Westminster Abbey

Tower Bridge

🔟 the one and only Glossier at King St!!!

It’s just beside Covent Garden Market! If you love makeup, you have to visit the store. I didn’t think I would get anything, but I ended up getting 4 items lol. The lip balm is the best lip glam I’ve used—this is coming from someone with really cracked lips and I use lip balm on a daily basis. It cost £14, pricey but worth it. I got it in the most popular scent, Birthday.
