THE SILKIEST SCRAMBLED EGGS 💛

if you love eggs, then you MUST come to this char chan teng (cafe) 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 華星冰室 in Hong Kong!! i’m really not sure what they do to their scrambled eggs but it’s truly the most silky, smooth, not overly watery scrambled eggs i’ve ever had 💯 salt and pepper are for you to self-add to your own liking, but you could also have it plain.

most people would recommend Australian Dairy Co. (very similar food) but i honestly find it slightly overhyped and their portion of spaghetti is way too much for breakfast (tastes super regular too imo). plus, having the char siew slices in my soup is kind of a no go for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ meanwhile here, their simple and hearty bowl of macaroni soup with sliced luncheon meat is so satisfying and not too heavy 👌🏼

my #GoTo for a side order is always their peanut butter condensed milk thick toast which glistens and satisfied my sweet cravings every! single! time! 🥹 the peanut butter isn’t too thick so you won’t feel gelat. also FYI, i’ve had better pork chop buns before so you could skip that when ordering.

i’d recommend going before 11am to enjoy their breakfast set meal (cheaper) and also to carry light as seats can be a little squeezy in there. lemme know how you find it if you check it out! :)
