Food Review in Washington DC
📍Location: Tatte Bakery & Cafe
Modern, yet classic bakery and cafe that has multiple locations throughout DC and Boston. I have been to multiple Tatte locations throughout Washington DC, and they have all been very consistent in not only preparation but also great staff and cleanliness. When ordering at the counter, you have so many options: breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, tartines, shakshuka, bowls, pastries, and tarts! You will never have to worry about having an option if you are gluten-free, dairy free, etc.
Overall rating: 5/5
My go to, is the Turkey B.L.A.T, which is turkey, bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato, with a delicious aioli. I relish any moment I can get a gluten-free sandwich. And at $12.50 for the sandwich, it is worth it, and I am full every time!
My fiancé ordered the Greek Style Pancakes, which he enjoyed so much he barely spoke! They pancakes come topped with wildflower honey and sesame seeds. On the side, there was greek yogurt that took place of butter that most like to have on pancakes and a homemade pear jam. This cost $13.50.
