VEGETABLE AND SEED OILS ARE NOT GOOD FOR YOU. When heated, corn, sunflower, palm and soybean oils - often called "vegetable" oils - release chemicals called aldehydes which have been linked to various cancers and neurogenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's. america often touts vegetable oils are healthy or good for your heart. in reality they're over processed and not good for you.

for me, this also means avoiding them in skin care ingredients. so if I see any of these listed on a skin oil, I don't buy it either.

DONT USE.

❌canola oil

❌safflower oil

❌sunflower oil

❌rapeseed oil

❌soybean oil

❌corn oil

❌palm oil

❌(even peanut oil is not good for you but not the worst either)

and don't forget to check the ingredients in your products. example of every day products with bad oils:

❌mayonnaise (get the one w avocado oil)

❌almond butter (make sure there isn't added palm oil). which is also terrible for the planet by the way.

❌chips (try to only use ones w olive or a healthy oil. most are made w canola oil)

THE OILS YOU SHOULD BE USING INSTEAD.

✅olive oil

✅coconut oil

✅avocado oil

✅butter or ghee (grass fed)
