I know that many foreigners are shopping in Spotlight Store, but I highly recommend for this purpose china town.

The Shop is called “Lye Nai Shiong” and is highly popular among fashion students.

Why? Because the range of the materials at some point is even more than at spotlight and price is waaaay lower.

For example, some simple thread at Spotlight can cost you from 3 to 6 dollars. But in Lye Nai Shiong it will be only $1!

Lye Nai Shiong store also has lots of accessories for industrial and domestic sewing machines (footers, needles, bobbing and etc). Some basic fabrics like calico, interfacing and etc.

And if you need other fabrics there are many shops around where you can it for a good price.
