My favorite thing to do is find natural spots to explore and enjoy; this is no secret! What amazes me is that so many people don't know the beauty that lies out there, especially those who live here but never take the chance to enjoy it.

These are 9 of my favorite spots to visit regularly!

1. Little Red River- the mouth of the river begins in Heber springs at the GreersFerry Lake Dam. 102 miles of floating and famous trout fishing. 🎣

2. Heber Rec Bluffs- campground located in Heber Springs, offers rocky bluffs to overlook or jump! Spectacular sunset views 🌅

3. Diamond Bluff Lookout- secret overlook on the backside of Diamond Bluff Estates in Quitman 👀

4. Archie creek- Creek that runs through Clinton Ar. Although it looks big, currents are fairly decent which makes for a good place to float without all the tourists 🛶

5. Collin's Creek- located in Heber at the JFK park. Beautiful man-made creek that channels water from the bottom of the lake down to the Little Red River. Popular photography spot and offers a trail that leads straight down to the river, playground and picnic area near foot of trail for the kiddos. 🏞️

6. Mirror lake- located near Blanchard Springs Rec Area. 0.9 mile trail down to the waters, lake at the head of the falls popular for fishing. explore the history of the Old Stone Mill downstream.. 🐟

7. Sugar Loaf Mountain- Heber Springs. Offers 5 trails of varying difficulty. 690 foot to the top overlooking all of Heber Springs as well as the Little Red River. The summit climb is rather difficult but well worth the view! ⛰️

8. Bridal Veil Falls- Heber Springs. Accessible year round, spectacular in the winter as it freezes over❄️

9. Buffalo River- 135 miles of river running through the Ozarks of Arkansas; 1st National River in the US 1972; one of the last few free flowing rivers of the lower 48 states! Popular for floating, camping, hiking, and star gazing ⭐️
