The Naturals Series is really surprising me…

I think we all know by this point that I am not a YA Book fan… so I honestly don’t even know what came over me when I decided to pick up this book series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, But, IT. Is. So. Good.

The Naturals follows a group of Teens who are gifted or “naturals” in a certain area of expertise. They work with the FBI in a program to use their gifts to help them solve cold cases… and sometimes active ones.

The characters are just so likable! Like I want to protect each and every one of them. Plus if you like True Crime Shows, or shows like Criminal Minds, you will definitely like this book series.

I think the fact that it is YA, actually helps with this series because it keeps the pacing very fast. There isn’t really any filler scenes, or filler dialogue. Everything is there for a reason, and Jennifer Lynn Barnes is super talented at bringing the stories full circle so the “twist” is never out of nowhere. It always makes sense.

I have only finished the first 2 books of the series, but I am so excited for the next 2! I am planning on bingeing them over the upcoming Holidays!
