Driving Route:
1. Fly into Reykjavik and pick up your rental car.
2. Drive from Reykjavik to Kirkjufell Falls, located on the north coast of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The drive takes about 2.5-3 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
3. From Kirkjufell Falls, drive to the Golden Circle, which is located in the southwest part of Iceland. The Golden Circle includes attractions like Geysir, Gullfoss, and Thingvellir National Park. Allow a full day for exploring the Golden Circle.
4. From the Golden Circle, drive to Skaftafell/Hof, located on the southeastern part of Iceland near Vatnajökull glacier. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Along the way, you'll pass by many stunning landscapes and natural wonders.
5. From Skaftafell/Hof, drive to Vik, which is located on the south coast of Iceland. The drive takes about 2-3 hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Along the way, you'll pass by many beautiful black sand beaches and other natural attractions.
6. Finally, drive back to Reykjavik, which is located in the southwest part of Iceland. The drive from Vik to Reykjavik takes about 2.5-3 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
