Once Upon a Broken Heart: 4 Stars

This was a great book to set the series! I love traveling to the Magnificent North with our FMC Evangeline and seeing characters from her previous series Caraval in her new series. This author knows how to create a magical place for a reader. I know a handful of people complain about the setting being bright and magical because the story is kind of darker. Those elements are why I love this book! This book reminds me of a Disney movie but the princess falls for the villain.

The Ballad of Never After: 5 Stars

This is the second book in the OUABH series. Let me just start out with saying this book is a fairytale gone wrong. This book is my favorite in the entire trilogy. We see the relationship grow between the two main characters and then that ending. The cliffhanger was a punch in the gut so have the third book ready when you finish this!

A Curse for True Love: 3.5 Stars

I wanted to love this book like the other 2 but I feel this story is unfinished. Tons of pieces of the story is left unresolved and I’m hoping Stephanie Garber plans on someday going back to this word. We get Apollo POVs just to warn you guys. We barely see Jacks and have no idea where he's at. I didn’t hate this book but I definitely needed more especially since it was the last book in the series.
