How to let a friend go?

Personally It is very hard to let a friend go, but it can be even harder to stay on good terms.

I was thinking about this not too long ago because an Ex-friend from high school has recently been popping up more and more on my socials. I stopped being friends with them because of the way they talked about other people they were friends with.

I could only imagine what they would say about me. In the end I ended up ghosting them and basically just full on running away 😂

Let me just say that is NOT a good way to do that, but I was young and I’m still learning.

Although I do wonder How does one approach ending a friendship?

Have you ever let a friend go? How did they handle the news?
