two cranes is a korean inspired cafe located within the heartland of kovan. chanced upon this cafe on google maps and decided to drop by since it was near where i work. the cafe has a rustic, cozy feel and has outdoor and indoor seating.

ICED WHITE $6

got this the first time i went and it tasted strong, sour and BURNT. decided to give it another chance but it still tasted BURNT 🤠🤠 not the worst coffee but its one of them…

WHITE TRUFFLE EGG ON TOAST $16

rating: 4/5

(tried this last year in july so im not sure if it still tastes the same now 😬) the egg was fluffy, creamy and the truffle smell was not too overpowering. cant really vouch for the salad on the side cuz i dont eat veggies 👹👹 one of my favourites and would definitely come back for this again

(tried this last year in july so im not sure if it still tastes the same now 😬) egg was fluffy and creamy, crispy bacon and mushroom was sautéed nicely. simple and hearty meal, nothing too special about it. is it worth $21 ?? maybe? but i wouldnt buy it again

VERDICT

i would come back for the truffle egg on toast as well as to try their other mains like WONDA ARMY STEW and JJAJANGMYEON. i would recommend to stay away from the coffee 🤠🤠🤠 i guess its worth a try but YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
