hey 🍋 babes! if you’re looking for must visit activites and fun things to do in tokyo other than shopping and sightseeing, here are some activities that my bf and i did during our latest trip to tokyo + tips !!

—— TEAMLABS PLANET ——

- wear long skirts because most of the floor has mirrors

- can skip the exhibit with knee high water if you can’t roll up your pants

- changing room available to remove stockings

- towel available after every water exhibit

- go the first or last slot for minimal crowd

—— DISNEYLAND ——

- buy tickets online (we bought ours on klook) early! tickets are released 1 month prior

- check out my disneyland post for a more detailed guide

- try to arrive early because the queues can get very long for the popular rides

- if you plan to go to both disneysea and disneyland, you could consider staying overnight at the disney resort so that it would be more convinient!

—— TOKYO CHRISTMAS MARKET ——

- definitely a must visit during the festive period

- food can be a little pricey and portions are small so i would recommend to just walk around the enjoy the vibes

- tickets are around $10 but you get a super cute free mug if u purchase online instead of in person so definitely buy online!

- no carnival games there though :( expect only food and souvenir stores

—— KARTING IN SHIBUYA ——

- there are other locations such as asakusa which is slightly cheaper but shibuya seems to be the most popular

- this requires you to have a driving license + an international driving permit (IDP) so make sure you get those ready!

- they have costumes for you to try and its around 1 hour for the whole experience, inclusive of the safety briefing!
